At The Laurita Group, from the moment you enter the cozy farmhouse-chic dining room, you are offered your first mouth amuser, or “amuse bouche,” compliments of the chef. A small bite, packing layers of flavor, that greets your tastebuds at the door to excite and delight you for what’s to come--like the "Honey I'm Home" spiced nut & prosciutto glazed bites, handmade Irish Soda Bread Crostini with fresh fig jam, and most recently, our Signature Coconut Ginger Lemongrass Soup, or otherwise known as the Umami Mami that we featured at last Boozy Brunch.
The amuse bouche is the French term for ‘mouth amuser’ borne in the European 60’s and 70’s, a time when the culinary scene was evolving with an emphasis on natural, fresh flavors, creativity, innovation, and presentation. It is an opportunity to offer diners a warm welcome and share a taste of our chefs’ technique and prowess—stimulating appetite, and surprising guests with something delightful and savory. Amuse bouche can take the form of traditional broths, mousses, small breads and spreads or anything else the chef crafts…

Hospitality is so important to us. Offering you something delicious as soon as you enter the door, a bite, big enough just to fit in your mouth, with a satisfying texture to sink your teeth into–be it crunchy, or juicy, or soft. A sweet, savory, tangy, or spiced bite to excite your tastebuds for the rest of your dining experience. Growing up, we were taught to welcome our guests with something refreshing to eat or drink. Today, we get to share this message with our beloved guests by sharing the amuse bouche, presenting an experience that says “You are home. You are family,” and leaves you hungry for more.
